How can we impact industry and higher education collaborations in the grey space?
One way is through the creation of intentional, strategic, reciprocal connecting activities. We will explore some of those connecting activities here and in the posts below.
Scale is a term being used a lot today. Scale relates to our Career Infusion Strategy. Career Infusion Strategy states that we connect all of our partners and create common space with common purpose, to help our students to be successful post-graduation.
As the career services profession considers becoming the connectors as the Education Advisory Board suggests is the space best suited for this profession to have maximum impact, we need to consider who we are connecting.

- Employers
- Students
- Administration
- Alumni
- Community
- Government

- Program Collaboration: Intern-Ready and Career-Ready, and other Programs
- Intentional Connecting Activities: How do we empower our team to create intentional, meaningful connecting activities?
Connections sometimes include us facilitating the connection. Sometimes it means we connect two people for purposes other than those listed above. The focus is on connecting PEOPLE. As a result, more interactions and connections occur.
